Role: Database Administrator Location: We operate a hybrid schedule, meaning 2-3 days a week in the office based at Thorpe Park, Leeds. As a Database Administrator, you'll play a key role in ensuring our database platforms are secure, resilient, and ready to support future growth. Working closely with Cloud, Data Engineering, and Development teams, you'll help deliver reliable services, solve technical challenges, and drive continuous improvement across our data estate. Who are we looking for? · Strong SQL Server administration experience across production environments. · Expertise in database performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimisation. · Advanced T-SQL skills with experience using enterprise monitoring tools. · Experience supporting high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and recovery solutions. · Practical experience administering PostgreSQL within a production environment. · Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve database issues independently. · Working knowledge of PostgreSQL security, performance tuning, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance.
